I'm a lecturer at the Department of Computing, Goldsmiths. with a background in
artifical intelligence and human-computer interaction. My research is on
computational game design: how can computers understand play and help us
design video games? I have an interest in player analytics, player
experience, computational creativity, procedural content generation, and game
AI.
I'm also a co-investigator with the Digital Creativity Labs, York and run the IGGI PhD programme in digital games computing at Goldsmiths. IGGI has a number of four year EPSRC- funded studentships available, to start September 2017. If you're interested in applying, please get in touch, or contact potential supervisors directly.
